A decade. How many people quit after six months?
What makes her persistence even more remarkable is the fact that during these 10 years of blogging she finished her education, supported her parents and a brother, paid off her family’s debts, built a career, got married and had a baby – all while enduring serious pain from a chronic illness.
Typical of the writer, she’s using her 10th anniversary as a chance not to brag on herself but to thank her readers – and to give away some pretty skookum prizes, including gift cards and a handful of resources that writers need.
First, the writerly stuff:
Three goodies from the For Profit Blogging site: the “On Your Mark, Get Set, Blog!” course; the “How To Make Your Own Image Templates For Pinterest” course and a $50 Amazon gift card
Three also from Budgeting In The Fun Stuff: a pair of e-books, “How I Make Money Blogging” and “Managing Your Monthly Nut” (the first tells you what to do and the second helps you live on what you earn), plus a $20 Amazon card
And three from me: a combo of an hour of blog coaching plus a 50-percent-off coupon for the Write A Blog People Will Read course; a copy of “Frugality For Depressives: Money-Saving Tips For Those Who Find Life A Little Harder” and a copy of “Your Playbook For Tough Times: Living Large On Small Change, For The Short Term Or The Long Haul” (another book about saving money, one which – God willin’ and the creek don’t rise – I’ll be publishing within a couple of weeks)
More gift cards, too
Also up for grabs are:
$25 Target gift card (sponsored by Mr. Rebates)
$25 Amazon gift card (sponsored by Rockstar Finance)
$100 Amazon gift card (sponsored by Club Thrifty)
$100 Amazon gift card (sponsored by the Plutus Awards)
